MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) connectors are widely used in high-density fiber optic communication systems, providing high-density connectivity by supporting up to 144 fibers in a compact form. Available in multimode MPO connectors and singlemode MPO connectors, these connectors offer excellent performance with low insertion loss, compliant with GR-1435-Core standards.
Each connector typically contains 8, 12, or 24 strands of fiber, mated through MT ferrules, ensuring precision alignment. The modularity and scalability of MPO connectors allow for efficient use in MPO cable assemblies and high-speed data transmission environments. FSG offers customization for connectors ranging from 12 to 48 fibers, with support for cables from 2.0mm to 5.0mm in diameter. These connectors are designed to handle extreme environments with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C and are primarily used in high-density environments such as data center interconnects and telecommunication networks.
